So they have their inventory card deck, but they also have a second card deck called “strife specibus” and it’s basically the weapons deck. also you can buy different kinds of inventory card decks, all of them are hilariously inconvenient (like johns only lets him pick up the card on the top of the deck, jade has one that makes her play a game of memory to get her item) so you can only pick up as many items as you have cards. anyway all the characters have inventories, and the inventories are like card decks where each item goes on a card. Homestuck is a video game universe, where like their whole world kind of operates on video game rules.
